Call Emergency Department
For an emergency, please call before you travel so our team can prepare for your pet. This clinic does not operate 24 hours. The emergency number is the same as the clinic's main line.
When to come immediately
Signs that should not wait
- Difficulty breathing
- Accidents and trauma
- Severe vomiting or diarrhoea
- Seizures or collapse
- Suspected poisoning
- Inability to urinate
- Difficult labour
- Uncontrolled bleeding
This list is not exhaustive. If you are unsure, call. Calling too early is always better than waiting too long.
On the way to the clinic
- Call to describe the problem and your expected arrival time.
- Have someone else drive if possible, and travel safely.
- Bring any medication, food or substance you think your pet swallowed.
- Keep your pet in a carrier or on a secure lead.
Information for your visit
We assess and stabilise urgent patients during opening hours, daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Please call before travelling so the team can triage and prepare. Outside these hours, contact the nearest 24-hour animal hospital immediately and take any medication history or suspected substance packaging with you.
